On October 20th, Capcom held a special Resident Evil showcase, revealing more information about the upcoming Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, the game's Shadows of Rose DLC, and its remake of Resident Evil 4.
Capcom announced earlier this year that it would remake the beloved classic, with a March 24, 2023 release date. The company has now released a second trailer for Resident Evil 4, and this game looks absolutely stunning. It wasn't surprising when Capcom announced that it was remaking Resident Evil 4 – it was the next in line, after all – but given how well-regarded the original is, many people were skeptical that this remake would live up to its legacy. If yesterday's trailer is any indication, Capcom is dead set on proving skeptics wrong.
Resident Evil 4 is a fan favorite, and I'm glad to see it receiving the attention it deserves.
