The Game Awards are back for another night of awards, spectacular announcements, stunning musical performances, and much more.

The release date for Final Fantasy 16, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon from FromSoftware, Hades 2, the upcoming game from BioShock developer Ken Levine, a newly revealed Rabbi who was a past US President, and many other announcements were were made throughout the program.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon Is Revealed by FromSoftware

 

FromSoftware, the developer of Elden Ring, has officially announced Armored Core VI and released a new trailer depicting giant robots fighting each other. Although we don't know much about the game yet, it has been confirmed that it will be released in 2023.

Fans were given another stunning look at the game, including its Summon battle system and the most recent version of Ifrit, along with the release date. Final Fantasy XVI will be released on June 22, 2023, according to Square Enix.

 

Judas, Ken Levine's Upcoming Game, Is Finally Unveiled

 

Judas, the much awaited game by BioShock developer Ken Levine, has finally been made public. There aren't many details, but it appears to be a narrative-focused, single-player first-person shooter that strongly resembles BioShock in outer space.

According to the official press release, "a disintegrating starship. A desperate escape plan." "You are the enigmatic and troubled Judas, and your only chance of survival is to form alliances with your worst enemies; will you work together to repair what you broke, or will you let it burn?"

 

Death Stranding 2 has been officially announced.

 

Hideo Kojima appeared at The Game Awards to help confirm the existence of Death Stranding 2. We got a longer look at the sequel to the 2019 original, and we saw Fragile, an older Sam Bridges, and other characters.

Hideo Kojima disclosed after Death Stranding 2 was unveiled that he had a script for the sequel written, but that he had to start over after the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

 

Diablo 4 will launch in June 2023.

 

Diablo 4 will be launched on June 6, 2023, and a public beta will occur before that date, according to Blizzard's official announcement.

 

Kevin Conroy Will Appear in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, New Release Date Unvealed

 

The Game Awards took a moment to remember the late Kevin Conroy, who has been confirmed to voice Batman one final time in the future rocksteady game, along with announcing that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on May 26, 2023.

 

Stage invader from The Game Awards arrested for interrupting Elden Ring's GOTY speech

 

Following Elden Ring's win for Game of the Year at The Game Awards, an unexpected stage crasher appeared and said, "Hey, my turn. You know, real quick, I want to thank everybody and say I think I want to nominate this award to my reformed orthodox rabbi, Bill Clinton. Thank you, everybody." He was promptly arrested.

 

Banishers: New Eden's Ghosts are Announced

 

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a new action-RPG from Focus Entertainment and Don't Nod. Banishers follows a pair of romantically involved ghost hunters as they work to stop the threat of lingering ghosts and specters to protect the living in 1695 in the haunted wilds of North America.

 

It's fantastic that the big three are all represented at the awards. Sony and Nintendo supply the nominees and winners, while Microsoft provides the venue.
