Xbox Says That Even After 3 Years of Silence, it Didn't Abandon FF14

But Phil insisted that he would keep working to bring Square Enix's most popular Final Fantasy 14 MMO to the Xbox platform.

The massively multiplayer online game first appeared on the PlayStation 4 and personal computers in 2010. The Xbox release date has been pushed back to 2019, according to Square Enix, because the platform has limitations on several cross-play features, such as the ability to create guilds and connect with players on other platforms. As a result, the release date was pushed back.
