Wakana Gojo is a high school student who secretly adores hina dolls and aspires to be a craftsman like his grandfather. He had isolated himself from everyone because he had been socially traumatized as a result of his passion. Marin Kitagawa, a classmate, sees him using a sewing machine to make a doll's costume one day at school. Marin asks Wakana if he could help her create cosplays after admiring his doll and praising his work. Wakana is initially concerned about his ability to create cosplay costumes for Marin due to his limited experience with Hina dolls. He does, however, agree to do it.
